    Venue & How to Reach

The history of Hyderabad dates back to the late 16th century and is deeply rooted in the rich cultural and political heritage of the Deccan region. The city was founded in 1591 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth ruler of the Qutb Shahi dynasty, who established Hyderabad as a new capital along the banks of the Musi River. According to legend, the city was named after Bhagmati, later known as Hyder Mahal, symbolizing prosperity and cultural harmony.

Hyderabad was ruled by several prominent dynasties, including the Qutb Shahis and later the Asaf Jahi Nizams, under whom the city flourished as a major center of art, culture, education, and trade. The Nizams played a crucial role in developing infrastructure, institutions, and architectural landmarks such as Charminar, Golconda Fort, and Chowmahalla Palace. With the integration of Hyderabad into the Indian Union in 1948, the city entered a new phase of modernization and growth.

In contemporary times, Hyderabad has emerged as a leading metropolitan city, globally recognized for its contributions to pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, information technology, and research. While embracing rapid urban and industrial development, the city continues to preserve its historical legacy, making Hyderabad a unique blend of tradition and modernity and an ideal destination for academic and scientific conferences.
